{"id":1634,"date":"2017-02-14T13:06:29","date_gmt":"2017-02-14T19:06:29","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/gamut1studios.com\/blog\/?p=1634"},"modified":"2017-02-14T13:06:29","modified_gmt":"2017-02-14T19:06:29","slug":"g1-raises-the-roof-for-super-bowl-51","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"http:\/\/gamut1studios.com\/blog\/?p=1634","title":{"rendered":"G1 raises the roof for Super Bowl 51"},"content":{"rendered":"<div class=\"\"><span class=\"\"><span class=\"\"><b class=\"\">Highlights from our \u00a07th Annual Super Bowl Party benefitting Children\u2019s Home and Lutheran Social Services Adoption Support Fund<br \/>\n<\/b><br \/>\n<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<div class=\"\" style=\"text-align: left;\">\n<p>With six years of big game partying for charity under our belts, it was exciting to once again welcome our party regulars, (many who have attended all 7 years in a row!) and greet a group of first time party goers, too.\u00a0 All the newness may have contributed to the crowning of a new chili king with Joe Monsoor (Cathy\u2019s\u00a0son) winning the coveted best chili award for his spicy sensation, New Delhi Chili with Chicken &amp; Duck.\u00a0 It was unusual that our repeat chili champion\u2019s Dewey Koshenina or\u00a0Greg Kamin didn\u2019t win\u2026but neither did\u00a0Greg&#8217;s\u00a0Packers. Ouch.<\/p>\n<p><iframe loading=\"lazy\" id=\"vp1ubJo7\" title=\"Video Player\" src=\"https:\/\/s3.amazonaws.com\/embed.animoto.com\/play.html?w=swf\/production\/vp1&amp;e=1487098128&amp;f=ubJo75wbDkhVBTcMTiMmRA&amp;d=0&amp;m=p&amp;r=360p+720p&amp;volume=100&amp;start_res=720p&amp;i=m&amp;asset_domain=s3-p.animoto.com&amp;animoto_domain=animoto.com&amp;options=\" width=\"864\" height=\"486\" frameborder=\"0\" allowfullscreen=\"allowfullscreen\"><\/iframe><\/p>\n<div>\n<p>While the chili competition was heating up, the silent auction was also a scene of good natured competition for coveted items like Wild Hockey tickets, Droolin\u2019 Moose chocolates and Frost River\u2019s acclaimed bags. This year Gamut One\u2019s charity partner was Children\u2019s Home and Lutheran Social Services\u00a0of Minnesota\u00a0Adoption Support Fund, two wonderful organizations providing grants to families committing themselves to adopt children with known special needs, school- aged children and large sibling groups. These amazing charities are also near and dear to the hearts of our own, Bill Bartlett and his wife Therese as they are blessed to have grown their family through adoption.\u00a0 To top it off, over $2,200 was raised for the charities from Gamut One\u2019s Silent Auction, donations and premium seat program!\u00a0 Thank you to our generous silent auction donors: Droolin\u2019 Moose, 3M, Wild Wings, Loews Hotel, AmericInn, Swedish Comfort, Marketing Architects,\u00a0Ryan, Hodgins &amp; Associates CPAs\u00a0and Frost River. Combined with the equally generous bidding and donations of our guests we are proud to have made a substantial contribution to the charity.
